Sigh it's midterm break and notice how i've carefully avoided calling it a holiday. Because it really isn't! Two essays, an abstract and a field trip report to write, a powerpoint presentation to prepare for and three lit books to catch up on - all before i can see this week to a close! God give me strength and discipline to see it through.Sometimes i really wonder what will motivate my tuition kids to want to do their work proper without running around like little savages. I didn't use to believe bribes would do, but i'm almost at my wits' end. Sweets? Crossword puzzles? Threats that i'd kick them out of my class? Coughing at them? I don't understand how some of them can happily tell me that they just failed a test or got a band 3. I still remember how very devastated i was when i got a band 2 for english in primary 1 (not to say i was the most conscientious student but still). And yes the reason why i wanted to blog today: Elliot came out last friday at 1400 exact, i am so glad that cheche had none of those serious complications. In fact, she seemed to have a rather easy time! But before i start to sound heartless, i predict i'll probably go through the same process she did heh. Like mother, like elder daughter, probably like younger daughter i'd expect. We have low tolerance for pain.
I hope i can see him again soon. My mum won't let me carry him at all cos i'm still coughing like i want to die sometimes (but i kept my mouth tightly shut and turned away when he was around of course), so all the more motivation to stay away from cold drinks and make mr cough go away fast fast! Anyway back to work.

I think i do very stupid and pointless stuff when it boils down to pre-test day.Like blogging this stupid pointless entry, take that down for starters why don't you. Like opening my wardrobe and thinking very hard of what to wear for the rest of the week. Like caving in to temptation and buying a cold mocha frap from starbucks to settle down to study when i still haven't recovered from asthmatic cough (and the whipped cream they used wasn't even delish at all). Like looking through old pictures of my long curly hair and counting out the number of days (fine, months) it'd take to grow it all back. :( Anyway. Baby elliot's due anytime now, i can't wait to see who he'll look more like - cheche or mengjet heh. But no matter what, i'll still love him as much as i love anna. Sometimes having a sister and brother who's 10 and 9 years older than you and having them get married and have their own kids way before you makes you kind of anxious to see how your own life will turn out...or maybe not. :)

My tummy's refusing to hold any food, now it rejects even fruits what the heck?!It's all giving me a perfect excuse to not go school and all, but really, could all these illnesses have come at a worse time? -.- Well actually i can think of worse times but let's not go into that. Nausea! Asthmatic cough! I command you two to begone begone! *flower power added with a dash of snuffle, motion slotion come forth with a potion! Oh i removed the last post because even it was starting to nauseate ME all over again. Some images are really best forgotten.
